Bergenia ‘Apple Blossom’

A highly attractive B. emeiensis selection introduced by Anthony Robin White from the USA in 2002. It has smooth, leathery, dark green leaves with a distinctive pink margin and slightly tapered apex. A much more vigorous emeiensis with a crowded habit. In spring, apple blossom-like white flowers blushed the softest pink open from red-green calcyes atop a deep red stem. The flowers are subtly scented and the leaves turn red in winter.

Not often available but equally not impossible to find.
