Bergenia ‘Baby Doll’

An old classic attributed to Peter and Bärbel zur Linden, Germany, from 1971. It forms a tidy clump of large, rounded, leathery deep green leaves with a slightly serrated pink margin. Vigorous and well suited to the border edge or a large container. In spring, trusses of soft pink bell shaped flowers open in tight clusters on short branching stems. May repeat flower in summer.

Commonly available in trade.
