Bergenia ‘Fairytale Romance’

A new introduction for 2022 from Walters Gardens Inc. in the USA bred by Head Hybridizer Hans Hansen. It has good sized, thick, leathery, dark green, shiny, upright, obovate leaves with a toothed margin that create a dense mound, well suited to container growing. In spring, clusters of large, showy, upright, apple-blossom pink flowers open atop thick, green, branching stems.

A cross between B. 'Angel Kiss' and B. 'Vinterglöd'. It can be found for sale in garden centres and specialist nurseries.
