Bergenia ‘Nora’
A dwarf variety with rather cheery, crassifolia-like, bright green leaves that have an unusually pointed apex. Attractive, bell-shaped, pink-red flowers held in deep red calyces appear in spring. Selected by Mr Riede from his garden in Jena, and named after his daughter. It was donated to Sarastro Nursery in Austria for distribution.
Only one growing in the UK in my collection.
