Bergenia pacumbis ‘Bouncing Babe’

A new introduction from Bob Brown at Cotswold Garden Flowers with a rather attractive, sprawling habit, well suited to container growing. The enormous bright green leaves have some of the longest petioles seen in Bergenia, and a hairy, sinuous margin and upper leaf surface add to the textural interest of this plant. Generally clump forming, it spreads slowly. Leaves can reach 30cm+ long. Semi-evergreen, it tends to lose its leaves in the winter and produces masses of cherubic white-pink flowers on short green stems in spring.
