Bergenia pacumbis CC1793
A Chris Chadwell collection from the Himalayas with very large leaves, that open a gorgeous bronze orange on the upper leaf lamina and pink on the underside before turning apple green. Leaves are glabrous and glossy with a thick ciliate margin. A true pacumbis.
Highly attractive, white, occasionally flushed pink, flowers open in early spring from flesh coloured calyces. This is a statement plant that suits container growing or a prominent position in the rock garden.
