Bergenia ‘Schneeglocke’
A highly attractive, white flowering cultivar attributed to Heinz Klose from 1983. It has strap-like, dark green leaves that turn a brilliant red in autumn. A vigorous variety, it makes an excellent ground cover or border edge plant. In spring, dense clusters of petite, white flowers open atop red stems, slowly fading to pink with age. Unfortunately, it isn’t available for sale in the UK but can be found for sale in Germany from Staudengärtnerei Gräfin von Zeppelin.
