Bergenia ‘Traum’

An old cultivar, attributed to Heinz Klose from 1983, that is rarely seen in cultivation nowadays. It has smooth, leathery, rounded, dark green leaves and produces a profusion of large, pink flowers in spring. The name translates to 'Dream'.

Not currently available in the UK but can be sourced in Italy from the Viva I Priola nursery. It was once held by a UK Plant Heritage Plant Guardian.
