Bergenia ‘Winterzauber’

An incredibly rare cultivar with some of the best winter foliage interest of any Bergenia. It has good sized, upright, dark green, spoon-shaped leaves, with a distinctive red margin, that turn the most extraordinary kidney red, almost black, in winter, lasting all the way through to early spring. Flowers are yet to be observed.

There are currently no known stockists in the UK or abroad but it can be found in specialist collections. Deserves to be much more widely grown.
